Nina Diaz has been performing since age thirteen and by the time she was seventeen she was signed by Joan Jett’s Black Heart Records along with her sister Phanie Diaz (drums) and long-time friend, Jenn Alva (bass) with their indie rock trio Girl in a Coma. The San Antonio, TX trio quickly cultivated a strong following and now Nina is ready to set the music scene on fire with her forthcoming solo project.

Listen to us talk about sobriety, going solo and her upcoming New York City shows. She’ll be performing in Brooklyn at the Living Room on Thursday, October 8th and on Friday, October 9th she will perform in Manhattan at the Rockwood Music Hall.
