Season 2 kicked off with the raising of the championship banner for the Rose Basketball Club. During the post-game press conference, when asked about seeing the championship banner raised, Chelsea Gray, fresh off her WNBA Championship with the Las Vegas Aces, said, “Man, it’s an honor.”

She continued, “especially [for] the first season…[it’s] something that’s been really cool that [it was] built here in Florida. It’s really cool that you always remember the first championship [that] moment in the league.”

She concluded, “It was really cool that our group was able to come together in a short span and do that and get that done.”

In addition to raising the 2025 Championship banner, the night included the debut of one of the newest basketball clubs, led by Paige Bueckers, Breeze, which secured its first victory. In her post-game interview, Paige was asked about her Unrivaled debut. “It was really fun, really competitive, it was kind of what we expected to be in that regard. Extremely physical. But I think three-on-three is just a really fun brand of basketball, and to see where we’re growing as a team. That’s really exciting for this to be our first game, a lot of people’s first experience here at Unrivaled. It’s just been really fun to grow with the team, to be under the new coaching staff, to meet new teammates, and to compete that way against the best women in the world. It’s really fun.”

After the Mist’s team victory, Allisha Gray spoke to the media about playing for the USA 3-on-3 basketball team and how that experience has prepared her for the return of Unrivaled: “just recognizing the space on the floor and taking advantage of my opponents.” She continued, “knowing that there is a very aggressive game and [an] intense game. I mean, I love it because it just allows me to work on my game.”

This season has already proven successful, generating interest and partnerships with elite brands such as Samsung Galaxy, Xfinity, and Sephora.
