After a Blockbuster debut season, the new women’s three-on-three basketball league, Unrivaled, set a precedent for the future of women’s sports where players are part owners of the league. Instead of corporate executives cashing in, this business model aims to share profits equally with the athletes whose talent is showcased.

Founded in 2025 by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, Unrivaled, the player-owned league that gives participating players equity shares in the league’s success, has recently partnered with brands such as Samsung Galaxy, Xfinity, and Sephora. The league takes pride in including every player at the negotiation table. The second year is expected to be larger than its debut, including a stop in Philadelphia (1/30/26), where the two games will be played.

The league also announced the addition of a Player Prize Pool courtesy of Xfinity, with $50,000 going to the Free Throw Winner. But wait, there’s more! The interactive experience allows fans to vote for a chance to win two courtside seats to Philly Is Unrivaled at Xfinity Mobile Arena. In addition to the two courtside seats, fans who correctly select the top-performing player will have the opportunity to win two courtside seats to Philly Is Unrivaled Presented by Xfinity at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Jan. 30. The prize will also include travel costs covered up to $1,000.

According to the guidelines from the Unrivaled press release, Fans can cast their vote beginning today through Jan. 5 on Unrivaled’s website. Voting closes as the first game of the 2026 season tips off. Fans will also be asked to predict the free-throw percentage that their player will achieve and the total number of free throws their player will attempt as a tiebreaker.

Unrivaled’s second season will tip off on January 5, 2026. For more information and to stay up to date with league news, follow @UnrivaledBasketball.
