In a complete oversight on our part Meghan Trainor’s debut album, “Title” was mistakenly absent from our “Best of 2015” list. “Title” was released on January 9, 2015. Ms. Trainor made a splash with her infectious chorus and stunning vocals on her body positive single, “All About That Bass.”
She followed it up with her equally catchy, “Lips Are Movin’” and third single, “Dear Future Husband” but what makes “Title” so special is that as great as those tracks are those aren’t even the best ones on the album. Deeper cuts like, “3am,” “My Selfish Heart,” “Walkashame” and “Credit” beautifully showcase her ability to turn a phrase all while staying true to her doo-wop, Caribbean, throwback flair.
“Title” marked Trainor’s major label debut and what a debut it was!
