International superstar Jennifer Lopez is set to perform at this year’s Billboard Latin Music Awards and unveil a new song from her highly anticipated Spanish-language album. The multi-talented artist will also be honored with the Telemundo Star Award, presented by Xfinity, which recognizes the achievements of a singer beyond their musical career. The longest-running and prestigious ceremony of Latin music will be televised live on Telemundo on Thursday, April 27 at 8 pm/7c and simultaneously by Universo, the fastest-growing Hispanic cable channel in the United States.
López has chosen the stage of the “Billboard Latin Music Awards” to offer viewers a test of her new musical production, which features Marc Anthony and the MAGNUS Media team as executive producers. The new album, which will be distributed through Sony / Magnus Media / Nuyorican this summer 2017, marks its first Spanish-language album since 2007.
In addition to her latest album, the multi-faceted artist continues her successful Las Vegas residency with “All I Have” at the AXIS Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, and currently stars in the second season of her “Shades of Blue” series NBC. As of May 30, López will be executive producer and one of the judges on NBC’s new dance show “World of Dance” alongside Neyo and Derek Hough and will also star in NBC’s musical “Bye Bye Birdie.”
