Get ready to meet a Drag Queen like no other! Jimbo is not just any performer; she’s one of the best of the best and proudly calls herself a “Ru Girl.” You may recognize her from the first season of Canada’s Drag Race where she captivated audiences with her outstanding performances. But that’s not all, and she also appeared on the spin-off show “RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs The World,” where she showcased her incredible talent and stole the show. And if that wasn’t enough, she claimed victory in All-Stars season 8! Jimbo is a true superstar and a force to be reckoned with in the Drag world.

On the rainy Wednesday evening of March 6th, 2024, Jimbo brought her Drag Circus to New York City’s Town Hall. The stage was adorned with circus-themed inflatables (and I’m not only referring to Jimbo’s chest); the set was full of colorful enlarged props, cheeky references, and callbacks to popular Jimbo antics. The sold-out crowd cheered as the colorful cast of characters danced provocatively in an attempt to aid Jimbo in the search for Baloney, that’s right, Baloney, the prepackaged deli meat.

The show can sometimes feel like a surreal experience. One-eyed purple creatures with tentacles emerge from an inflatable clown mouth that resembles one of Jimbo’s most popular characters. This character is a cursed Casper dressed in a white PVC ghost sperm outfit that flings baloney. The creatures twerk and vogue while Jimbo sings about strangers being friends you haven’t met yet.

The show is full of nonsensical dance breaks, silly skits, live singing, and a brief standup segment with Joan Rivers surrounded by dancing angels with chiseled abs. It’s a raunchy good time!
