For the past 20 years there has been a rumor perpetuated by my grandparents that Magic Juan is my cousin, we try to set the record straight on this week’s episode. Magic Juan first redefined merengue by incorporating hip-hop and urban elements into his music with his 90s music group Proyecto Uno. In the 2000s he launched his solo career and has not looked back.
